Sun Life has appointed Anshuman Das as the Chief Bancassurance Officer
Das has had 15 years of experience of insurance and consumer banking.
Sun Life has appointed Anshuman Das as Chief Bancassurance Officer for Asia, starting 3 November.
Anshuman will be the responsible person for the region’s company’s bancassurance strategy and reporting to David Broom, Chief Client and Distribution Officer for Asia.
Das has worked in the insurance and consumer banking fields for a decade and a half.insuranceasia.com
He is coming to Sun Life from DBS, where he was the Executive Director for the regional bancassurance team and managed the strategic partnerships across life and general insurance, financial planning, and analytics.
He has worked in various positions in HSBC Life, Citibank, and Standard Chartered Bank.
A bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and an MBA from HKU Business School in Hong Kong are among the qualifications Das possesses.
His headquarters will be in Singapore.
